Understanding the Hideousness of Sin

  1. How does one describe the hideousness of sin?
    1. Words are inadequate to describe sin:
      1. Our society has dulled our senses to sin - Acts 28:26-27
      2. We think of the sins of others as being worse than our own
    2. Perhaps the only means to get a grip on the heinousness of sin is to examine the nature of God and the punishment God has decreed against it.
