    1. Proverbs 23:7 we must have the HEART of a soul winner - some Christians have a defeatist attitude, "I can't...." "I'm not..."
    2. Luke 6:45 out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks- Christians can talk about their (grand)children, diets, jobs, cars, and can unyieldingly defend their favorite teams and politics, but claim an inability to talk about their Lord. What we speak is what occupies a position of preeminence in our hearts.

  3. RESOLVE = "desire" "delight in any absent thing easily produces a desire for it" (Strong's). We must delight in winning souls.

      1. Paul's heart was STIRRED = stimulated, provoked . . .
      2. causing him to DISPUTE = discuss, argue w/ the Athenians, JEW, PROSELYTE and GENTILE (cf. Jer 20:7b-9)

    1. There is a tendency to speak concerning those who are not saved, but have we spoken to the Father concerning the lost?

    3. James 5:17-18 we must pray EARNESTLY = to petition God with sacred character
    4. Romans 12:12 INSTANT in prayer = constant, devoted, to persevere and not faint.
