ii. Thumos - wrath
iii. Literally, “to put one’s wrath at a distance”
iv. 14 times in the NT: “longsuffering” (12), “patience” (2)

2. Let us be longsuffering in our HOMES
a. Husbands with wives - 1 Peter 3:7
