No Exceptions

    1. "Born again" - literally, born from ABOVE
    2. John 3:5 born again = born of WATER and SPIRIT
    3. 1 Peter 1:22 our souls are purified when we OBEY the TRUTH
      1. this obedience is referred to as being BORN AGAIN - v 23
      2. God begat us by the WORD of TRUTH - James 1:18
    4. Ephesians 5:26 the church is sanctified and cleansed by Christ through the washing of WATER by the WORD
    5. Titus 3:5-7
      1. we are saved by God's mercy through the WASHING of regeneration and RENEWING of the Holy Spirit - v 5
      2. In so doing, we are JUSTIFIED by God's GRACE - v 7
      3. 2 Corinthians 5:17 - we are made new in CHRIST
