1.   Failure to Enter God’s PRESENCE:

      a.   Wrong PLACE:

            i.   1 Kings 12:26-33

      b.   Not PRESENT

            i.   Numbers 9:9-13

            ii.  Hebrews 10:25-31

2.   Failure to PREPARE

      a.   Exodus 19:10-14 – “Wash your clothes” (remember having “Sunday shoes”)

      b.   Deuteronomy 16:16 – Don’t come before God EMPTY

            i.   Empty- HANDED – Deut 16:17

            ii.  Empty- HEARTED – Matt 15:7-9; John 4:24

3.   Failure to be PURE

      a.   Isaiah 1:12-18

      b.   1 Peter 1:15-16

      c.   1 Timothy 2:8

      d.   Hebrews 10:19-22

4.   Failure to PARTICIPATE

      a.   Merely showing up is NOT worship!

      b.   Engaging the body without engaging the MIND

            i.   John 4:24

            ii.  1 Corinthians 14:15

            iii. 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

      c.   Failure to involve oneself in worship is a sin:

            i.   Singing:

                  (1) Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16

                  (2) Hebrews 13:15

            ii.  Prayer – 1 Corinthians 14:16

            iii. Preaching – Acts 14:9

5.   Failure to PURPOSE
